For years, Sebastian Peréy and Robbie Clinger talked on benches around Myrtle Beach about business, money, and the lessons no one teaches in a classroom. Conversations on the Bench collects those talks. Digger Cartwright, who first attended the Symposium in 2007, wrote the book as a tribute to Peréy and to the two men who built Thinking Outside the Boxe.
We keep it here because it is the closest thing Thinking Outside the Boxe has to a founding document. The arguments on this site are about policy. The book is about the habits of mind behind them: tell people what they need to hear, not what they want to hear.
