In The Wake Of The Tragedy In Charleston SC People Are Calling For The Removal Of The Confederate Flag. Is The Flag Just a Scapegoat For Bigger Issues?

Myrtle Beach, SC, Orlando, FL July 1, 2015

Gastonia, NC Correspondent-I’m not sure “blaming society” is the direction to go with the
Confederate flag donnybrook.  Dylann Roof was undoubtedly a deeply disturbed individual, and interviews with those around him indicate that there were numerous warning signs that his grenade of lunacy had its pin pulled quite some time ago. Continue reading

How Has The Ability To Easily Document Effected Our Willingness To Intervene In Bad Situations?

Myrtle Beach, SC, Orlando, FL June 26, 2015

Prescott Valley, AZ Correspondent-Both regular media and social media sources have affected the willingness of ordinary citizens to intervene in complicated, dangerous and bad situations due to the preponderance of media outlet overkill and the instantaneous follow up documentation that is disseminated through televised sources and the internet.  The combination of these influential sources has overpowered and neutralized the will of people to look at a volatile situation rationally and make decisions as to how to assess a situation, intervene and resolve a predicament.  Problem solving appears to have been left to the media giants rather than law abiding citizens and the proper authorities. Myrtle Beach, SC, Orlando, FL May 15, 2015

Myrtle Beach, SC Correspondent-Yes, fans care about cheating, but only if it’s not their team, or even more so if it’s “their” team’s rival. If it’s their team doing the cheating, then no. Take the most recent example, “deflategate.”  I have friends (Patriots fans) who are labeling people “haters” for even questioning Tom Brady in this. Even though there is evidence directly showing he had a hand in deflating the footballs. Do they care that Tom Brady is a cheater? Nope, all they care about is that their team won the game, and everyone questioning the win are “haters”.

Should We Militarize The Police As A Stronger Response To Rioting In America?

Myrtle Beach, SC, Orlando, FL May 8, 2015

Prescott Valley, AZ Correspondent– Rioting, or uprisings, as some pundits call them, are out of control, and tougher responses are needed to constrain the elements of society who take rioting in the streets as a full or part time occupation.  Whether rioting involves knee-jerk reactions to unresolved crimes, court case outcomes, labor union disputes, sporting event incidents, or politically and racially motivated agendas, any uncontrolled acts of mayhem and violence must not be tolerated or permitted to continue without some type of lawful intervention.
