Is Football the ONLY sport worth watching?
From our Gastonia Correspondent I have a confession to make, brothers and sisters. I hope you’ll be able to forgive me for my perfidy, and that we can move forward forevermore. I am a man living in North Carolina, and I don’t give a fig about either NASCAR or college basketball. The thought of attending … Continue reading Is Football the ONLY sport worth watching?
Should women be given combat roles in the military and allowed to fight alongside men on the front lines?
Owatonna, MN Correspondent- Aside from Joan of Arc, Xena the Warrior Princess, and a handful of comic book and movie heroine warriors, females fighting on the front lines in a war was never considered until the rise of the modern feminist movement started in the 1970s. Bill O’Reilly fired?!?!?
From Our Gastonia, NC Correspondent The news this week of Bill O’Reilly’s unceremonious eviction from his Fox News post may have been mildly surprising for its precipitous nature, but the fact that it was going to happen was written on the wall when the first advertiser fled his show after the news of the sexual … Continue reading Bill O’Reilly fired?!?!?
Should minors be allowed to get tattoos (if they have parental permission)?
Owatonna, MN Correspondent-Tattoos are often considered "the poor man's art." They also express someone's personality, albeit in an unusual way. Sheffield, Jamaica Correspondent-We all want to prevent mass destruction, terrorism, nuclear attacks, and whatever America fears. Preventing the aforementioned means having Intelligence at the right time. But how is this ‘Intelligence’ gathered? I’d say in more ways than one. Current federal and local immigration policies have allowed violent gangs to go untouched in New York. What can be done to stop the unending violence in communities plagued by gang violence?
Gastonia, NC Correspondent- Blaming the gang problem in major cities on the immigration policy is completely ridiculous. Yes, there are gangs made up primarily of immigrants in the major cities, but the gang problem here existed long before those newcomers came on the scene. Anyone who lived through the ‘70s remembers “The Warriors,” the ultraviolent … Continue reading Current federal and local immigration policies have allowed violent gangs to go untouched in New York.
