Correspondents’ Forum

Everything we publish, newest first. Browse by year for the Weekly Correspondents’ Forum, or by subject: business, the economy, health care, politics, society, and world affairs. Each piece runs under the date it was written and is left as written. If a prediction missed, the miss stays on the page.

Weekly Correspondents’ Forum

Each session we put a single question to our correspondents and publish their answers in full. The question is the same for everyone. The answers rarely are. Read them side by side: the disagreement between a port logistics manager in Jacksonville and an engineer in Knoxville is often more useful than the consensus of a panel.
